Adobe Firefly prompts

Built for commercial work inside Adobe.

Firefly is Adobe's generator, integrated with Photoshop and Express. It's widely used for commercial pieces and has its own style, lighting and composition settings.

A VisualCodes prompt gives Firefly the full description; then you can fine-tune with its settings or keep editing in Photoshop.

Anatomy of a Firefly prompt

Each colour is a part the Builder adds for you: no need to remember each tool's format.

How to use it with Firefly

Three steps from the Builder.

  1. Build the combination in the Builder.
  2. Tap “Try in” → “Firefly”: the prompt is copied and Firefly opens.
  3. Paste it, choose the ratio and, if you like, adjust style or take the image to Photoshop.

Use cases with recommended codes and ready combinations.

Tips

  • If you use Firefly's style settings, drop the style code from the prompt to avoid duplicating.
  • For pieces with text, generate without it and add typography in Express or Photoshop.
  • Use Firefly's style references to keep a campaign consistent.

Common mistakes

  • Asking for protected brands or characters: Firefly blocks them.
  • Expecting perfect text inside the image.
  • Duplicating the style in the prompt and in the settings.

FAQ

Can I use it inside Photoshop?

Yes: the same prompt works for Photoshop's “Generate image” or generative fill.

Does it understand Spanish?

Yes; if you use the app in Spanish, the prompt comes out in Spanish.

Why paste the prompt?

Firefly doesn't take text via the URL; the button copies it and opens Firefly.
